Vintage Evelyn Ackerman hand hooked tapestry rug from the mid 1960s. This rug was made in Japan as part of the Ackerman ERA brand, copyright Era Industries, Los Angeles, California. Has a tag on the back. Could use a cleaning. Stapled to a wooden rod which has a rope for hanging on the wall. Initials in the bottom left read "DL". I have been in contact with Ackerman Modern, who confirmed this is an Ackerman piece, titled "Floral", and possibly designed by Donald Leake.
