Antique Navajo Single Saddle Wool Blanket
This is an antique single saddle Navajo blanket made of hand spun rambouillet wool yarn in the early 1920's. Features stripes of red and orange with tiny black railroad tracks forming the design.
The frayed edges and wear mean this was probably actually used on a horse. An authentic piece of history that would make a beautiful piece to display!
The weaving is thick and tight, but the edges are frayed so please be aware that this is a damaged piece. See photos for more details and feel free to contact me with any other questions.
Our textiles are photographed under daylight-balanced LED studio lights. We do not adjust the colors of the photographs or use filters to ensure that we are always portraying the colors as accurately as possible.
