33" String Bells Windchime
Bell strings were made popular in the mid 20th century by Sajan Singh Sarna, who imported them to the USA from India. You can hang them from your curtain rod as decoration or outside as a wind chime.
This string appears to have been homemade in that style, using 7 bells that are each about 2" in height. This string came from the estate of a bell collector who labeled each bell inside with the date and any notes on its acquisition. The bells in this string are labeled, "1954", "Charles Sawhill Paris '54", "Margaret November '72 Denver", "Margaret July '80", "Margaret June 1981" "Margaret July '72".
