Vintage large, room sized rug in the Moud Mahi pattern. Measures 13 feet x 9 feet. The pattern is so small that when viewed from afar, it has a very neutral appearance of a pinkish dark beige. But upon closer inspection, the tiny pattern which looks like a khatam mosaic, reveals its jewel colors of pinks and blues. The wool pile is thick and soft underfoot. One area of damage, where there is a dark spot next to a lighter repaired spot. Please see detail photos. Made in the 1940s-50s.
