Vintage heavy brass hamsa door knocker. Normally there would be a second piece of brass to screw into the door that the hand knocks against, but it has been lost, so this listing is for the hand only. This is a true antique, with hand made cuts and engraving.

The Hamsa, or Hand of Fatima, is widely used in the Middle East and North Africa as a symbol of protection.
