Márquez was a Colombian novelist and Nobel Prize in Literature winner. He considered this his best book, saying that he had to write his famous novel, "One Hundred Years of Solitude", so that people would read "No One Writes to the Colonel". It was published in 1961.

This art print was put out by Editorial Oveja Negra, a book store in Bogotá, Colombia. Likely printed sometime in the 1970s-90s. It comes professionally framed in a black frame with non-glare glass. It is in excellent condition.
